TM Smith – The Cellar Dreamcast, Blog Tour, & Giveaway!

Dreamcast, Taryn and Thanos then and now.

Hello all, and thanks for following The Cellar blog tour. For today’s stop I’m having tea with Charlie Cochet, and I’m going to talk about Taryn and Thanos, then and now.

In The Cellar, you will get to travel back in time and see how Taryn and Thanos met and fell in love. It wasn’t all candlelight and roses for these two, Taryn and Theresa’s mother was hell bent on the union, but if there is one thing you need to know about Taryn… he always gets what he wants.

From the first time Taryn laid eyes on Thanos he wanted him, felt drawn to him, knew that the striking young man with sun-kissed skin and mesmerizing blue eyes belonged to him. But Thanos was the simple son of a fisherman, not good enough for the son that would rule Greece one day. Thanos was never just a fisherman’s son though, he was the gentle giant that could do things to Taryn that no one else could, or has since.

Taryn then  Thanos then

Taryn did what he had to do to ensure his mother would agree to his union with Thanos. And now over twenty years later they have built a foundation that is unmovable. Along with Theresa and Ariadne, Taryn’s sister and her wife, he and Thanos have raised two amazing children that are now grown and off forging their own paths in life. You’ll have to read the series to get all the juicy details, but let’s just say that the apples did not fall far from the trees!

When I was writing these characters I decided who my vision of each one was very early on. I chose Brandon Routh for Taryn first because everything about him just screams Taryn. Tall, dark and devious looking, Taryn needed to be seen just as mean and arrogant as he is. So then I needed the yin for that yang, the other half of that soul, the one person that could balance him. I also knew that I wanted someone with gorgeous blue eyes, and I wanted someone that matched Taryn physically in appearance. So, who better to square off against Superman than, well, Superman! Tom Welling is deceptively shy with his boy next door good looks, piercing blue eyes, and that smile that could light up a room.

Now when you read The Cellar, or any of the other books in the series, you have a visual of the large and in charge dads from House Orion that Aiya refers to as ‘Big Scary Giants’!

Thank you again Charlie for having me over for tea today, it was a blast! I’ll leave you guys with a little something naughty. I found this video on youtube and it made me think of a younger Taryn and Thanos. First because they are holed up in a supply closet, made me think of the cellar, and second because of what the one guy says, “I do what I want!” How very Taryn is that?!

The Cellar

an Opposites novella

Adult Dystoptian majorly M/M series

TTC Publishing November 23rd 2014

It’s time to learn the truth about what happened that day in The Cellar.

Taryn and Thanos are the formidable Ambassadors of House Orion. Taryn was born into power, bred from birth to lead the people of Greece along with his sister Theresa, Thanos was never a part of his mother’s plan. The son of a fisherman was not a suitable match for the son of Greece as far as their mother was concerned, but Taryn always takes what he wants.

The Cellar is the story of how these two men met and fell in love, and what lengths Taryn went to, to ensure he kept his man. This novella also contains a more detailed accounting of what happened the night Raven and Tanis went for a walk on the beach, and the adult version of Mistletoe and Mayhem that was initially released as a free short through goodreads.

The Cellar is the second novella in the Opposites series, the series should be read in order.

** Warning, Opposites is an Adult Dystopian majorly M/M series that contains explicit sexual content and relationships between gay, straight and lesbian couples. However, The Cellar is strictly a M/M novella **
